Because that radical styling isn't just fabulously retro, it's also brilliantly useable. There's a class-leading 33 litres of storage space under the side-opening seat. The engine, in this joyous coming-together of old-school style and 2008 technology, is Yamaha's only fuel-injected 50cc four-stroke. Just put some petrol in (about once every blue moon), sit back, and enjoy the fully-automatic - and very much non-retro - ride experience. Giggle. It's an event on two wheels. |
